Grade One

First grade is such an exciting time in the lives of students! They dive into reading and math problem solving and begin thinking and learning independently. It’s neat to see students discover knowledge and enjoy a good story through reading a book on their own. There are so many fun things we explore in science like our body systems, and the life cycle of a frog. We also learn about maps, globes, landforms, some famous Americans and much more. We love diving into God’s Word together and treasure our times of worship together in chapel and in the classroom!
